The Zeta Eta Chapter HouseThe San Jose State chapter, the Zeta Eta of Beta Theta Pi, was colonized in 1991 and on March 11, 1995, the chapter was officially recognized by the Fraternity at the 156th General Convention. Zeta Eta has strived to dedicate itself to making principled leaders at San Jose State University. Since our inception, the chapter has been highly active in Greek life and the San Jose State campus community with participation in various community service projects and philanthropies dedicated to helping those in need.

These projects include a peer mentoring program at a number of high schools in San Jose and Vegielution - an urban farming project. Every Fall, we host our philanthropy dedicated to raising money to fight breast cancer. Through this event, Zeta Eta helps fund breast cancer research, while at the same time, we help bring the San Jose State campus community together with a fun bowling tournament.

Many of our members take leadership positions both inside and outside of Beta Theta Pi. Our heavily involved with student organizations on the Campus, such as: Vietnamese Students Association, Applied Engineering Club, Tae Kwon Do Club, Soccer Club, Arts of Wing Tsun - Martial Arts, American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, International Business Association, Lacrosse Club, and Student for Quality Education.  We take pride in our involvement on campus and in Greek life. Furthermore, we always welcome any opportunity to meet people like you. VIDEO: REVERSE IT

Reverse It from Beta Theta Pi on Vimeo.

All fraternities and sororities struggle with the negative stereotypes that are generally associated with Greek life. Members of Beta Theta Pi are not immune to these stereotypes. As Betas we have a choice here: we can continue to undermine ourselves by not living up to our values, or we can choose to "Reverse It." At Zeta Eta, we choose to "Reverse It" by holding ourselves accountable to the Beta Theta Pi and to each other.
